Focused Apps
About

Built by one person, in spare time, with privacy in mind.

Focused Apps is not a studio. It is just one person doing this in spare time on an 8GB MacBook Air, trying to make small apps that might be of interest to certain people.

Both apps were originally made for myself first, then shaped into something worth sharing. No ads, no tracking, no selling user data.

Why the apps are local-only

The apps are local-only because privacy matters. The goal is simple: what happens on your iPhone should stay on your iPhone. Your reminders, decisions, habits, and personal patterns should not be uploaded somewhere just because an app wants more data.

Why the apps are paid

There are no ads, no tracking, and no plans to turn these apps into subscriptions. They are paid because that is the cleanest model for this kind of software. Like everyone else, I still have to eat and pay bills, and charging upfront keeps the apps aligned with the people using them instead of with advertisers or data collection.

Why I made Micro Habit Hub

Micro Habit Hub started as a way to remember the small but important things that are easy to postpone every day: drinking water, taking a few deep breaths, resting your eyes, fixing posture, and similar tiny resets that matter more than they seem. It is essentially a reminders app for gentle daily maintenance, designed to nudge without nagging.

Why I made The Split

The Split began as something more playful. It was built for moments when I was unsure about a decision and wanted a more interesting way to think about how different choices might play out over time. You can log a decision, revisit it later, and see how the outcome actually turned out for you. Over time, that becomes a personal decision timeline instead of a one-off choice.

What happens next

The plan is not to stuff these apps with growth tactics. I do not plan to add ads, tracking, or subscriptions. If people use them and ask for features that make the apps genuinely better, I will keep improving them. If they eventually make enough to fund a better development machine, that would be a good bonus, but that is not the reason they exist.
