Simple privacy for local-first apps.
Micro Habit Hub, The Split, and Heeler are built with a privacy-first approach. No app here uses advertising trackers or a developer-run account backend. There are no ads, no tracking, and your data stays on your Apple devices or in your own private iCloud account.
What data we collect
We do not collect personal data through developer-controlled remote servers. Micro Habit Hub and The Split do not require an account, and they do not upload or share the information you create inside them as part of normal use. Heeler also does not use a developer-run account system or external analytics service.
How the apps work
Micro Habit Hub and The Split operate on-device. Habits, reminders, decisions, settings, and related usage data remain on your device. Heeler is also local-first, storing pet records, medications, care tasks, notes, and photos on-device. When iCloud sync is available and enabled for Heeler, data syncs through the user's private iCloud account rather than through a developer-hosted database.
Notifications, reminders, and Live Activities
Micro Habit Hub can surface information through Live Activities on the Lock Screen, and it also includes a setting that allows users to disable Live Activities and use simple notifications instead. Heeler can also use on-device notifications for medication reminders, vaccination boosters, vet appointments, and care tasks. These features work from information already stored on your device or in your private iCloud data.
Photos and exports
Heeler can store pet photos as part of a pet profile, and it can generate a PDF health summary for sharing or record-keeping. Those files are created from your own pet data and are not sent to an external developer server as part of the normal app experience.
Third parties
We do not send your app data to analytics vendors, advertising networks, or external databases as part of the app experience described on this site. In other words, the core app data you create is not used for ad targeting, behavioral profiling, or remote usage tracking through the app experience presented here.
Your control
You stay in control of your data on your own device and Apple account. If you delete an app or remove its local data, that information is removed from the device. If you use Heeler with iCloud sync, the synced records are tied to your private iCloud account rather than to an account controlled by the developer.
Tradeoff of local-first storage
Because Micro Habit Hub and The Split are local-only, their data does not automatically sync across devices. Heeler can remain local-only as well, or it can sync privately through iCloud when available. That means the experience stays more private and self-contained than apps built around external accounts and always-on cloud services.
